Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (CAFRAL), an organization promoted by the Reserve Bank of India. I received my PhD in Economics from Cornell University in 2023 and previously spent time at the University of Notre Dame as a postdoctoral researcher.
As an economist, my work focuses on development and labor economics, with interests in human capital formation, gender disparities, and the role of social norms in shaping economic outcomes. Additionally, my research explores price distortions and environmental impacts stemming from agricultural policies.
